Hi, I'm new to this and I'm wondering if anyone knows if any James Sutherland has a connection to Helen Miller, b. June 6, 1856 in Ontario, Canada, died May 29, 1919 in Bay City, Michigan. She married Melvin Spore (also born in Ontario) and they named their son James Sutherland Spore (b. May 13, 1885, d. Apr. 28, 1937). I know there's no connection to the Sutherlands through the Spores, but family stories say that Helen's family had a strong connection to the British Navy. Thanks.
