If you could find baptizms for Angus and Adam, I'd be most appreciative. Donald Sutherland (b 1820 Latheron - d 1899 Berrima NSW) who married Janet Anderson (b ?, d 1853 Latheron, Caithness). His marriage is given as 30 Apr 1841 in Latheron, and there is mention of a second marriage to Mary McCracken who came to Australia with him.
Donald Sutherland's parents are given as John Sutherland & Catherine?.
I can find Janet Anderson’s siblings, Donald & Margaret parents James & Janet McDonald but I cannot find Janet’s birth in Markinch.
Just wondering if you have come across any of them during your research & I look forward to hearing from you.
